Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Dearly through Meta's Muse assistant. By approving a Dearly order in Muse, you agree to them.
What Dearly is
Dearly is a connector that lets Muse, on your instruction, send a physical postcard, flowers, or an occasion-aware gift to someone you choose. Dearly acts only through Muse — there is no separate Dearly account, app, or website you interact with directly, and Dearly never contacts you by email, text, or push notification.
Who can use it
Dearly currently ships to US addresses only, in USD only.
Pricing and fees
- You are charged the item's cost from our fulfilment partner (PostGrid for postcards, Goody for flowers/gifts) plus a Dearly service fee of the greater of 10% or $0.50 of that cost, calculated and shown to you before you approve payment.
- For gifts/flowers, you are charged an estimated high price at checkout; if the final provider total is lower, the difference is refunded automatically. If it would exceed the amount you approved, the order is not placed.
- Payment is processed by Stripe.
Orders, cancellation, and refunds
- An order is only placed after you explicitly approve the charge shown to you (recipient details, item, and full price breakdown).
- You may request cancellation before an order ships; once cancelled, you receive a full refund, including Dearly's service fee — we retain no fee on a cancelled or fully refunded order.
- Once our fulfilment partner reports an item as shipped, it can no longer be cancelled through Dearly.
Reminders and autopilot
Dearly can remind you about occasions you've told it about; it will suggest a gift at most once per occasion and will not repeat the suggestion if you've dismissed it. "Autopilot" — charging and ordering automatically without your approval each time — only runs for an occasion you've explicitly configured with a named recipient, a spending cap, and a specific payment method. Contact us to revoke an autopilot rule.
Data about the people you send to
The recipient did not agree to these terms and has no Dearly account. You are responsible for having a lawful basis (e.g., an existing relationship) to share their name and address with us for the sole purpose of delivering what you ordered. See the Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.
Your data
You can request an export or permanent deletion of everything tied to your account at any time through Muse. Deletion cannot be undone and does not, by itself, cancel an order already placed with a fulfilment partner.
Service availability
Dearly is provided on an "as available" basis, without warranty of uninterrupted service.
Changes to these terms
Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date above. Since Dearly has no direct communication channel with you outside Muse, we recommend checking back periodically.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. If you reside somewhere that grants you mandatory consumer protections which cannot be waived by agreement, this section does not limit those protections.
